a day at the races!!

Sunday morning...the Nevi's...minus Gabi ( she was over at her friend Jalin's) went to watch our friend race his Nova! At first I was having flashbacks of going to a Nascar race with Dad and I cringed!

But....then Mike said there was a classic car show, and it was a Rockabilly reunion thing too! Plus I really like Ken & his wife! It was sooo fun! The races moved quickly which kept the kids attention, Kevin really liked trying to beat Mike by trying to pick the winner of each race. He sided with me and we did pretty good. Alex...wasn't feeling it but brought crayons and was a good sport! Our friend won...but not really since they had to race in a certain time frame...and he went to fast. It was a great activity and it could not have been a prettier Vegas Spring day! (Yes...Spring in Vegas...I swear!)

The Walkers for Knockers..

So...not my creative sign...but good one huh? Here are some super cute pics of all of us walking for a cure, in memory of an amazing woman, mother, sister, auntie and friend! We miss you sooooo much our Susie!

Mudders Day!

Every mom's day....we honor mom! We have been walking in the Revlon Run Walk 5k....I think like 10 years now! This year was no exeption....exept...The Howard cousins walked with us too! We had Auntie, our fam, The Howard's and Jennifer & Carl! It was soooooo intense and packed! We headed down early and got a great start! Afterward....down to Chano's!!! It is this little hole in the wall Taqueria...but damn good!
